2. SUMMER: Hat to keep sun off your face + sun block. WINTER: Warm cloths or a jacket.
3. Causal clothing like jeans are good when playing with the kids.
4. Camera - I always bring one and post the pictures on the web site afterwards.
5. Please DON'T bring CANDY or SWEETS, many of the kids have a ton of cavities :(
Donations: spare cloths, toys, etc. that you would like to give to the kids. Don't forget, space is limited in my car.
No need to worry about "getting something practical done". One of the most important gifts one person can give another is their caring and time. Fortunately, many other groups take care of the basic needs: food, shelter, cloths, repairs, etc., so we are free to do our part to complete the picture.
